Fall in Love with Fall in Falls Church

Fall is finally upon us in Falls Church! The cooler air, warm sweaters and community events are always a welcome change. Celebrate the colorful leaves and crisper air at one of these fall-themed events in Falls Church near Loren.
Head to Cherry Hill Park for a day of family fun at the annual Farm Day event. Here, you can enjoy live music from Split String Soup, hayrides, a petting zoo, cider, a blacksmith demonstration and so much more. Admission is free but some activities cost a small fee. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 7. Cherry Hill Park is an eight minute drive from Loren.
Bring the kids out to the Halloween Carnival on October 28 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Infants and kids up to sixth grade will love the moon bounce, haunted house, carnival games and more. Costumes are encouraged. This event is free for adults and kids under the age of two, and $2 for kids over two. The Halloween Carnival will be held at the Falls Church Community Center, which is a six minute drive from Loren.

Autumn is an incredible time to hang out in Falls Church’s outdoor parks. Take in the fresh air and colorful leaves while enjoying the pre-winter weather. Try out Cavalier Trail Park for a nice walking or running spot. If you’re feeling adventurous, head to West End Park to make use of the skate ramp.
